The "North Seeking Gyro" orientation probe has been recently developed. This orientation tool has the capability of measuring absolute positions anywhere in the borehole in reference to the geographic coordinate system, and can be used in conventional gyro survey mode.
The editing and processing software PC-LOG has been rewritten, and now operates in the MS-Windows environment.
